Goedware Game Jam 10 Devlog


Our previous submission to the Goedware Game Jam #9 was quite unpolished (https://redz-games.itch.io/newtons-nightmare). This time we set out to do better, bur unfortunately we were again quite short on time.  That meant to be very sharp on our scope. 

We started on Saturday 6 January.  This day we drafted the idea in Paint.  We learned to use Godot (again, it had been a while).  Implemented the basics and made some of the art. 

The next time we worked on the game was the evening of Wednesday 10 January. We had a online working session. We finished the basics and made more art. 

On Sunday 14 January we spent a lot of time on play testing & polish and adding the story,  but also the high-score system and moving bars were developed this day. 

During the development of the game we accelerated because we started to understand Godot better.
